Our one-day-a-week Religious School provides Judaics and Hebrew prayer reading curricula for kindergartners (beginning at age 5) through Confirmation (up to grade 9 or 10) on Sunday mornings from 9:30 am until 12 pm.

Our 29-week school year begins August 23, 2015 and ends May 22, 2016.

We offer the following class schedule for Reform Jewish youth of all ability levels (special needs students welcome) in Delray Beach and the South/Central Palm Beaches in our comfortable and convenient Barth School Building:

Kitah Aleph-Bet-Gimel (Kindergarten, Grade 1, Grade 2 – a combination class with a differentiated learning approach to aleph bet and early to mid-level prayer Hebrew, and fun, music-based Judaics activities)
Kitah Dalet-Hay (Grades 3 & 4 – a combination class with a differentiated learning approach to early prayer Hebrew and engaging and experiential Judaics lessons)
Kitah Vav (Grade 5 – a single-grade class that focuses pre-b’nai mitzvah studies in Hebrew prayer reading and chanting and Judaics. Home review is expected in this grade level.)
Kitah Tzion-Chet (Grades 6 & 7 – a combination class focused on b’nai mitzvah studies with an emphasis on students’ continued commitment into high school and beyond)
Confirmation Program (Grades 8 & 9 – a combination class with a focus on ethics, conversational Hebrew, and advanced discussion. Meets monthly with Rabbi Kanter as well as weekly lessons and madrichim assignments)**

**Confirmation program is weekly, not bi-monthly like other schools, so our students complete their confirmation requirements in 9th grade (vs. 10th grade) enabling them to take on leadership roles as teaching assistants/madrichim at an earlier grade level. Students who have not become a bar or bat mitzvah may join this class and still be confirmed.

We also offer monthly family/intergenerational/holiday services and special programming, individualized bar and bat mitzvah instruction, and youth group/NFTY activities.
